Halloween Trip Sneak Peek!

It may take me a few days to sufficiently recover from our trip to begin a report, but I wanted to post these preview pictures of our fabulous trip to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with the Roots. Patrick went as Harrison Hightower, complete with Shiriki Utundu puppet, and I was Constance Hatchet, the “new” Haunted Mansion bride. As usual, the Roots did an amazing job capturing all the fun!

I know this is an old post but the Shiriki Utundu puppet is awesome.

Carrie, I am completely cracking up over here. I wanted to see a picture of Constance Hatchet so I typed the name into google images and lo and behold the first picture is of YOU. It is your twitter avatar. That is so awesome!

That is so funny! The best image I’ve found of her so far is this one:

There aren’t as many online as you would think, maybe cuz it’s so dang hard to take a low-light shot of her from an omnimover car!

TOTALLY did not recognize Patrick at first glace…holy crud. I only realized what I was looking at when I scrolled past the pic of you, Lurkyloo, and had to do a complete double-take. You are an AMAZING Constance! I’m not familiar with the character that Patrick is (I mean, I know of him, but I’m not familiar with his appearance) but wow, that’s amazing. Can’t wait to see the rest of the pics…!

That’s so funny! If you click on the linked name of Harrison Hightower, above, it’ll take you to the whole backstory of Tower of Terror in Tokyo. I wasn’t sure my costume would translate—it’s kinda like a frumpy bride with a hatchet, but so many people recognized who I was s’posed to be!

Fantastic! You look so great. How DOES Patrick do that with his eyebrows?? Looks painful! Did you get a lot of attention from cast members?
    Happy Halloween!

Patrick does seem to have very malleable features, doesn’t he? We did get attention from cast members—in fact, of the 8 people who actually knew who Harrison Hightower was, 6 of them were cast members, and they were all very excited. (The other 2 were Japanese, and they were even more excited!)

Fantastic costumes!! I can’t wait to read your new report. I have been following along on twitter and love getting to see WDW pics while you are there.

Great picture of all four of you. The looks on your faces is too cute.

I LOVE your costumes! You guys are the reasons I don’t wear Halloween costumes any more! Mine never ever look this good (or are documented so well). Looking forward to the Trip Report.

This is the first time I’ve had a decent Halloween costume in years! You know, there’s a store near me that sells used movie and TV costumes, including lots of grittily authentic service-worker uniforms—maybe next year you and I can go as an Un-Sexy Nurse and an Un-Sexy Maid!

What do you think?
