I am looking to plan a holiday party for 42 and I was wondering what you think wouold be the best venue for families? Ascetically pleasing as well as great food. This is a very pretty place, but it seems a little too grown up for what I am looking for. I tried to get the castle but they do not have groups over 12

Well, something in the park would be really fun—Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a lot of party venues, which you can see here. Epcot offers IllumiNations viewing during dinner and dessert parties. Animal Kingdom has fewer options, but you can do a meal and combine it with, say, a safari ride. (The other two parks let you add ride mix-ins too.) Otherwise, many of the Deluxe resorts have nice outdoor spaces, some with views of the fireworks.

    Hi,

Do you know what the food and beverage minimum is at Jiko? Would there be an event or room fee in addition? Thank you.

For a private event while Jiko is closed, the food and beverage minimum is $1,500 with no venue rental fee. Food provided by Disney Catered Events, not Jiko’s chefs/kitchen. If you do an event in their Wine Room during restaurant hours it’s $2,500 food and beverage minimums for half the room (20 people) or $4,000 for the whole room (40 people) and the food is cooked by Jiko. No venue rental fee.

What do you think?
