Unfortunately, the outdoor venues are only available when the park is closed, so either very early in the morning or late at night.

They never put the capacity on the info sheets they give out, but I would guesstimate at least 150 people.
Thanks Carrie! I find this place quite interesting. Do you if they would allow ceremonies to take place here as well? I know it would have to be after the park closes, and if you were to have an event here would you get it for four hours or is there a specific time you would be kicked out by?
I remember someone asked about doing a ceremony here in the past and was told no, but I don’t get why, so I say… ask again! You would just need to have somewhere else to go while they turned the site into a reception (if you wanted them both there), and that might trigger another venue fee & food and beverage minimum for wherever you did that. There doesn’t seem to be a time limit on the venue, but if you hold a reception that lasts longer than 4 hours you have to pay again for the DJ and food and beverage service (pro-rated, I believe).
I’ve been looking for info on having a reception at the Tower of Terror, but your site is the only one that is actually helpful. Do you know if they still do events at the Tower of Terror and if there’s a way to utilize the entire building instead of just the courtyard or terrace? And do you know who I can contact about booking it?
Yes! They still do events in the Courtyard, and you can use the whole ride if you do a buyout for $6,500. This post has more information. You need to call Disney Catered Events at 321-939-7278. Hope this helps!

Is it true that the event fee and food and beverage minimum is different through Disney weddings vs. going through Disney events for this particular venue?
No. All the venue fees and food and beverage minimums are the same at every location. Weddings do have additional overall minimums you have to meet, but those aren’t tied to locations (except for the Ceremony Fee). The only difference between Disney’s Catered Events and DFTWs at this point is that DCE will only charge you viewing fees for in-park events (during park operating hours) for guests who don’t have park admission, while DFTW charges you the fee for everyone except the bridal couple.
