You know, I don’t have prices for that venue. If I can dig ’em up, I’ll come back here and let you know!

I am trying to plan an event for Saturday October 4, 2014 (90th Birthday Party) and I wanted a break down on prices and other information regarding the Yacht and Beach Club Marina. Also if there is any availability for that day. Are there any cast member discounts? Any information that you can give me would be wonderful or any other locations that might work.

    Thank you.

    Molly

Hi Molly! I don’t work for Disney so I don’t know about availability. They usually do offer cast member discounts, but sometimes it depends on day of the week or season. The best thing to do is call Disney Catered Events directly at 321-939-7278 or email meetings@disneyworld.com. Good luck!

    Hi Carrie!

Do you have any idea if they’d use this area for a ceremony? My dream is to have a ceremony at the lighthouse, but that would be a REALLY long aisle to walk down. Hah! This would be sort of a compromise, though I’m not sure how they’d set it up. I also want a morning ceremony, so I’m not sure how that would work…

Hi Autumn! I suppose if you really wanted to do your ceremony right off the public walkway, they wouldn’t stop you, but there’s a perfectly lovely wedding gazebo just a few yards away at the Yacht Club that I have a feeling they will try to steer you toward. Unfortunately the lighthouse and dock cannot be used because they need to remain open for Friendship boat passengers. You might rather use Shipwreck Beach or Crescent Cove for your ceremony, both of which will give you a view of the lighthouse.

Thanks for your answer 🙂 I love the setting of the Wedding Gazebo but it seems a bit awkward with fitting the wedding party inside and other such logisitics. I only glanced at it when we were there a few weeks ago, so I’d have to give it a better look before we decide anything. I’m sure we will do some sort of formal tour once we set our date. Crescent Cove and Shipwreck Beach definitely sound like good options, though. Also, I totally forgot about the boat passengers. Duh! I feel dumb for even wondering about that now… Thanks again for your answer! You’re such a fount of Disney Wedding knowledge! 🙂
