Tonight was the media preview of the Walt Disney Parks & Resorts pavilion, called the Carousel of Projects, at D23 Expo 2011. Here’s a quickee slideshow of all the photos I took to tide you over til I can write up the full report. Side note: HTC sent me a loaner of their new MyTouch 4G Slide to try out for the Expo (since my iPhone 3G is totally buggy, slow, and basically on its last legs), and it is making my life so much easier. These photos were shot with the phone’s 8 megapixel camera—SO much better looking than the ones I can take with my phone!

August 30, 2011Ain’t that the truth! The disparity in the D23 Expo experience of the media vs. the “fans” was pretty discouraging. I was able to zip inside the convention center while Patrick waited 90 minutes in line. I got into the Legends presentation while Patrick was being turned away at the door after another hour in line. It made me feel guilty and angry all at once, and I eventually just gave up and waited in the lines so I could be with him!
