Hi, we are looking at Citrico’s for a wedding reception for up to 10 people, do you know if there is a minimum there? I wasn’t sure if it had to be booked under a Disney package, but we have a small number of people and want dinner included and a four hour reception. Thanks in advance.

Hi Linda! There are a couple of ways to do Citricos. You can book Citricos’ Chef’s Domain for up to 12 people for an $800 food and beverage minimum, but that’s just a 2-hour meal at either 5:30pm or 8:30pm. To book the entire restaurant for a 4-hour wedding reception, you would need to have an 18-person Wishes Collection event with a ceremony, and your reception would need to end by 3pm. For a small group like yours, you might do best to book the Chef’s Domain and then add on another event if you want to spend more than 2 hours. That could be anything from a fireworks dessert party via Disney Catered Events to an informal get-together at a resort lounge or on the beach to watch fireworks.

    Hi Carrie,

We are having our brunch reception here in Feb 2018 and was told that tables could not be moved or removed. In one of the pictures above it shows that the round was removed from between the 4 columns and that tables had been moved together with clothes. Do you know if this is still an option?

Hi Shelley! That photo was taken before they started prohibiting weddings from moving the tables around. I just liked it so much, I kept it in the book, but I see now I should replace it to avoid confusion!

Hi Carrie. Regarding our 30th Anniversary celebration in Chef’s Domain, do you know if we can use our Tables in Wonderland discount dining card? Would you believe our 9 person party is now potentially 12 or 13?! I do know it is excepted in Citrico’s and after all the frustration of booking Chefs, I’m now wondering if the room will be comfortable enough for 12 or 13 people and perhaps we should consider just booking Citrico’s instead? Any opinions?

    Thanks,

    Diane

Hi Diane! Yes, you can use your Tables In Wonderland card for Chef’s Domain, but it technically only covers 6 people (however you often hear of servers applying it to the whole party). The capacity of the room is 12, which means that 12 will fit comfortably. I’d stick with Chef’s Domain unless I really did end up having 13 people.

What do you think?
