  Just curious if you know if SOG still offers the ability to rent the gazebo without one of their packages? I was told in Jan 2014 that we could rent it for $300 an hour in December of this year. And now that I’ve gotten their quotes on packages, they are telling me that they no longer rent it out by the hour and the a package for weddings is required. They said this was changed in Jan 2014. I feel like I’m getting the runaround. I love the gazebo but would like a reception somewhere else.

    Oooh… I think you probably have the most up-to-date info on this. It would not surprise me if they’d eliminated the a la carte options. They seem to be shaking things up after years of bad reviews of their virtually nonexistent event-coordination services, and I can see how offering only packages allows them to also offer more professional services. But you might press them for an exception, since they told you one thing and then pulled a switcheroo after you’d made your plans.
