The Wave – The Contemporary Resort

The Wave is not a used by Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings for events, but you can book its private room on your own by calling the restaurant directly. Half the room seats 35 people; the whole room seats 50.

• 1–35 people: $500 food and beverage minimum
• 36–50 people: $1,000 food and beverage minimum

    Thanks for the quick response!

I can’t believe it is possible to do brunch for 50 people for less than $10 a head. Do you know if you choose from sample menus?

Well, that’s the minimum, not the price of any menu. So if you served nothing but pastries, maybe you could keep it to $10. But if you look at the menus they can send you, you’ll see that the pre-set options cost more than $10/person. You’d just have to work with them to customize the menu to suit your budget. Give them a call and they’ll send you the latest menus: 407-824-3800

Love your site, especially the pictures of the available locations.

I have 2 questions for you:

I assume the prices above are for the space only and the food is additional?

In your book, do you give the more detailed information for all locations like you do in the post about Hollywood Studios? I would love to get more information on ride mix-ins and things of that nature in other parks.

Hi Mark! The prices listed here are how much you have to spend on food at each meal, so that includes the use of the room. There are no additional charges (other than tax and service charge, of course). Re: my book, yes, it has complete details (pricing, capacity, requirements) on nearly every event venue in the parks.

Good question. I would assume it is like DFTW’s pricing and anything before noon is brunch, but that might warrant a phone call to the Wave’s manager… which I would totally do for you if I weren’t in Canada right now!
