I was wondering if it possible to have a wedding reception here for lunch . My husband picked a Beauty and the Beast theme for our 25th wedding renewal.
Also is music allowed.
Hi Laura! This is a working theater venue that is open during park hours, so it is only available for after-hours events late at night and early in the morning.
I am planning to have my wedding here in March 2016!! Disney please, please, please don’t change anything before then!! We can book 1 year out so March 2015 we will have the official word! I know it seems crazy, but you have to plan way ahead with Disney Weddings!!
Bummer!! I just confirmed with DFTW this morning that they will not be offering this location beyond December 2013! They would not confirm or deny any rumors about it being torn down, but simply said it will not be offered as a wedding location. They are however willing to discuss other options that would meet my critera closer to my wedding.
Yeah, I would definitely check back closer to your wedding, because you never know what’s going to change. For many years, they kept saying that Ariel’s was no longer going to be available after a certain date, and the date just kept getting pushed back and pushed back, and nothing ever happened.
I just checked with Disney Weddings and this venue is available April 2015. We are most likely going with a different venue though.
Thanks for the update!
I am working on planning my Disney wedding now. I talked to a Disney Wedding Planner last week and was told that no venues in Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios would be available for wedding venues in the upcoming 2 years. I was told I would have to have my wedding in 2018 to even be considered. he said that they are making changes to add new shows and rides and that that was why these venues would not be available.
Until those projects are scheduled, those venues are still available. And right now none of them are scheduled. But I can see why DFTW is warning potential brides with blanket statements like that. Some venues in the park may be available at the time of your wedding, but if you had your heart set on one place in particular that isn’t, they don’t want you to be disappointed. If you’re flexible and OK with using a backup space, though, you may be able to switch to the venue you really want if it happens to be available when your wedding gets closer.
