I don’t know if anyone can help me with this but neither me or my partner are that into traditional cake. Cheesecake however we adore! Are there any Disney bakeries etc who could make us a wedding cheesecake? Also we’re wondering if we could have our cake on the firework cruise in the evening?

    Thanks 🙂

    • Carrie
      November 27, 2017

You can have cake delivered to your fireworks cruise by Private Dining at the resort where the cruise departs. I’d give them a call and see if cheesecake is an option. Just find the resort on this page to get the direct phone number.

    Hi Carrie,
This is so thorough – I so appreciate your detail and information! I have a question I hope you can help with. I’m planning on getting a boat rental for my husband’s birthday (just renting it ourselves, not with a captain). I know you can place private dining orders for cruises with a captain, but do you think I could order one of the cakes from the resort for a private boat rental? (I’m leaning toward renting from GF.)
    Thank you!

    • Carrie
      August 19, 2017

I don’t see why not… They deliver to the Marina—it shouldn’t matter who’s driving the boat! The only thing I can think of them objecting to is if you don’t have a reservation number for the boat already, like if they need a specific time to deliver the cake. But I don’t think Disney even gives confirmation numbers for fireworks cruises, so maybe that doesn’t matter. I say, go for it!

    Hi Carrie,

I’m looking to order a birthday cake for our trip in October. My daughter is hoping for a descendants picture on an 8in cake. We currently have reservations at the Crystal Palace the night of her birthday. I emailed the Magic Kingdom cakes above and she did not like the sound of the honey flavored cake. We are staying at the All Star Sports resort. I called the number above to ask for help last week and have not received a phone call back. Do you know what our options would be? Is descendants even a cake option? Magic Kingdom will be closing early that night so we could leave there and head to a resort on the monorail to pick up a cake to bring back to our resort but what would that involve? Thank you for your help!

    • Carrie
      August 6, 2017

Hi Jenn! OK, I would try calling All-Star Sports back until you get someone—sometimes it means phoning the main number for the resort and explaining that you have called the Cake Hotline number multiple times and no one is calling you back. Then, if you get a good CM, they will usually try to find out who you need to talk to. A screen print on a cake is easy—whether or not the bakery has and image of the Descendants is another matter. Hopefully they do! Otherwise, you could try calling the Contemporary and asking for a cake to pick up at the Wave. Hope this helps!

        August 6, 2017

Thank you for your help!! I’ll work on it again tomorrow 🙂 The Crystal Palace cake looks really cute for anyone that is going there! They sent me a picture in the email when they responded! My daughter has an insane fear of bees and thinks if you eat honey bees will sting you! There is no changing her mind, especially not for a birthday cake!

Can a cake be delivered to our room at Port Orleans Riverside? If so which bakery do i need to contact and how soon in advance?

    • Carrie
      August 3, 2017

No, you will have to pick it up from the table-service restaurant at POR. Call the number for Port Orleans Riverside on this page about 3 weeks in advance. Do not call BoardWalk Bakery directly, even though they are the ones making your cake. If you do, they will say you can’t get a cake delivered to POR.

I would like to order a small custom cake and have it during the Spirit of Aloha show at the Polynesian. I have a picture of what I would like to order. How would I order? Is it possible to have it in time for the show and have it delivered? It won’t be till November. Is it too far in advance to order? Thank you

    • Carrie
      June 18, 2017

For a fancy cake, you’d need to call Private Dining at the Grand Floridian using the number on this page. They will give you an email address you can send the photo too. You can specify what time you want the cake delivered by giving them your reservation number. It might be a little far in advance to order, but as long as you call back 2 or 3 days before and reconfirm everything, you should be fine. Happy planning!

    Hi,
We are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary (we were married in Disney) in Nov and are planning on DInner at O’Hana. Do you if the Polynesian deliver to the restaurant?

    • Carrie
      May 3, 2017

Congratulations on your anniversary! Yes, you can order a cake for delivery to Ohana by calling the number listed for the Polynesian on this page. If you want anything fancy and fondant-covered, though, call the Grand Floridian’s number instead. They will deliver to the Polynesian.

Trying to plan a cake for my daughters 16th Birthday but I feel like all restaurants we booked don’t have delivery options. I wanted a custom cake at be our guest or chef de France. Any chance I can get a custom beauty and beast cake to either restaurant? I ordered a beautiful Minnie cake when my other daughter turned 16 and just seems it’s not working out this time. Maybe u can help

    • Carrie
      March 12, 2017

Hi Renee! Unfortunately, Magic Kingdom *just* changed their policy about custom cakes at the end of last year—otherwise, that would have been your best bet. Now you can only get a standardized dessert at each MK restaurant, nothing custom. And Chefs de France is owned by an outside vendor, so you can’t get a Disney cake delivered there. Are you staying at a Disney resort? You can have a custom cake delivered to your room.

      • Renee
        March 13, 2017

We are staying at a Disney resort was just hoping for something in the parks. Any suggestions on other places they will let you have a cake?

        • Carrie
          March 13, 2017

Epcot’s bakery makes pretty great cakes! They only service the following pavilions: Canada, UK, America, Germany and Norway pavilions, plus Future World.

  • Cassie
    March 1, 2017

I hope this isn’t a repeat question. I tried to sift through and read them to see if anyone asked it.

I want to get the slipper or crown and cake option but we aren’t going to be able to go to Cinderella’s royal table. Can I order it from the available places and have them deliver to all star movies?

    • Carrie
      March 2, 2017

The new Magic Kingdom restaurant-specific specialty desserts are, unfortunately, exclusive to those restaurants. However, restaurants and resorts serviced by the Grand Floridian and the Contemporary can make a similar white chocolate slipper dessert (it just doesn’t come with the cake). So you would be able to order that at any of the restaurants in those resorts (like Chef Mickey’s or 1900 Park Fare). All-Star Movies is serviced by a different pastry team that doesn’t offer the white chocolate slipper.

Hi Rosa! Use the phone number I have listed for Epcot, above: 407-560-6395. That will get you straight to Epcot Food & Beverage. You can leave all the details of the cake you want and a real person will call you back.

    Hi Carrie,

Do you know how many the character dome cakes from Amorette’s serve? I’ve always wanted to order a cake on property, as we often make trips for birthdays, but it’s just the two of us.

    Thank you!

    • Carrie
      January 30, 2017

They say the character dome cakes serve 6–8 people. But hey, for 2 people, that’s 3–4 days’ worth of cake, and that’s never a bad thing!

    January 3, 2017

I have called the number for All Star Sports three times, left voice mail with no return call. My trip is Jan.23, 2017 and that is also the date I want the cake. I only want the Mickey Mouse cake with Happy Birthday Mike on it. Is there anything else I can do? Thank you,

    • Carrie
      January 3, 2017

I would call the main number for the resort and tell them you have been trying to get ahold of someone in the Food & Beverage department to place a custom cake order but no one is answering the voice mail. They should be able to transfer you directly to a real person.

  • Lola
    October 22, 2016

We’re staying at a timeshare resort not directly related to Disney but in the same area. What is my best bet for a Mickey cake delivered to the timeshare?

    • Carrie
      October 25, 2016

Disney won’t deliver one, but you could see if a local bakery like Sprinkles Custom Cakes or Party Flavors would make you one and deliver it. I’m pretty sure It’s Tasty Too won’t because they’re strict about copyright infringement.

    September 27, 2016

Hi Carrie! I contacted wdw.contemporary.cake.order and they responded with instructions to call the Contemporary Cake Line, which I did on Friday morning 9/23, but no return call. Then again on Monday 9/26 since I hadn’t heard back from anyone and their voicemail message says someone will return your call within 24 hours, but again no return call. I just e-mailed Brian again because I need the cake for October 5th, but no response. I’m starting to worry that they will not be able to fulfill my order because they haven’t gotten back to me. (I was hoping for a custom cake with an Eiffel Tower theme.) Any other suggestions as to how else to reach them? Thanks!

    • Carrie
      September 27, 2016

Hi Deb! I believe Chef Brian has Mondays and Tuesdays off. If you don’t hear back by EOD Wednesday, call the main number for the Contemporary the next morning and ask to be transferred to Private Dining. Explain to them what you’ve told me, and they’ll be sure one of the pastry chefs gets in touch with you.

    September 20, 2016

Hi, I am celebrating two birthdays when we go to Disney. One will be at the Whispering Canyons restaurant and I know we can get a fancy fondant cake from the contemporary bakery. The second is at the Tusker house. I want the same level of cake, but can I get fancy fondant cake there? I saw posted somewhere that the Brown Derby may be able to? Please help! I need these cakes to be similar in their decorations so one boy isn’t disappointed on his birthday.

    • Carrie
      September 20, 2016

Unfortunately, Animal Kingdom’s bakery is not up to the task of fancy fondant cakes. The Brown Derby is sometimes able to help out at Hollywood Studios, but not at Animal Kingdom. Which resort are you staying at? You can have a fancy cake delivered to your room at most Disney resorts. Alternatively, you could take the shuttle to Animal Kingdom Lodge and have the cake delivered at one of the restaurants there. The pastry team isn’t quite as flexible as at the Contemporary, but they can do fondant.

      • Karen
        September 28, 2016

I called the Animal Kingdom cake order line and they can do fondant cakes!! They can do a fondant icing on the cake or buttercream if I prefer, a character standee and fondant embellishments! I emailed photos to Heather and they are able to do it for delivery at the Tusker house. We decided on buttercream frosting because fondant added $20 to the price of the cake, but I think my 8 yr old will like the taste of buttercream better anyway. I’ll send a photo when we return. The second cake is going to be similar made by the contemporary bakery for Whispering Canyon Cafe, so I’ll send that photo too and you can see the difference with the two.

        • Carrie
          September 28, 2016

Ooh! Can you share the number you called and the email they gave you? Just a few months ago I went through a MAJOR runaround with Animal Kingdom trying to help a UK visitor get a fondant cake. It eventually happened, but it was all so convoluted—it’s great to know they’re getting their act together!

    HI
I want to order a cake for my 21 year old for next month. We are staying at the Caribbean Resort but eating lunch at the Boat House. They have said we can bring our own cake but I am having trouble finding where I can get one made. I would like Chip and Dale on it. We only arrive from New Zealand the day before so I dont have the lead in time unless I can order it now and pay for it. Can you help I have tried the Disney line but all they could offer me was the 6″ cake the restaurants serve and I really want it customized.

    • Carrie
      September 19, 2016

Hi Alison! You can have a custom cake delivered to your resort by calling the number posted above (407-934-3787). They will take your order and submit it to BoardWalk Bakery, who makes their cakes. You cannot place the order directly with BoardWalk Bakery. Here is a post someone made last week who got a custom mini cake delivered to Caribbean Beach.

    Hi,

Have you got any idea how I can call from the UK. The normal 407 827 2253 number doesn’t seem to work.

Your help would be much luck appreciated.

    • Carrie
      September 7, 2016

Hi Chris! From the UK, you need to add the international code (00) and the US code (1), so try 00 1 407 827 2253. And let me know if I can be of any assistance!

          September 8, 2016

Oh no! The only pastry team you can contact via email is the Contemporary’s (see above), which services that resort, Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge and Magic Kingdom. Where do you need the cake delivered?

                October 18, 2016

I´m gonna also order a cake to be delivered to be our guest.
Even at the lunch time is it possible? Because I know that at lunch time the service is that advanced choice option of food.
We are a party of 5 and I believe that 6 inches is enough … but I wonder if they can write the birthday boy’s name at this small cake.
                Thanks …

                • Carrie
                  October 18, 2016

I feel like I’ve seen people get them at lunchtime at BOG, even though it’s not table service, but definitely call and double-check! The cake will be too small to write the names, but usually they can put them on a white chocolate scroll that rests on the plate.

    hello,
we will be staying at the grand floridan and celebrating my granddaughters 8th birthday I understand the characters cant deliver the cakes, but can they at least sing happy birthday ?

    • Carrie
      August 1, 2016

Unfortunately, the characters do not speak; they only pantomime. You might be able to have your server incite other diners to sing it, if you talk to them about it.

This may be off topic, but we will be at Disney, dining at the Cape May at the Beach Club for my husband’s birthday. He is not a cake fan, but LOVES pie – especially fruit pie – especially apple. Do you know if there is any where at Disney that makes pies, and if so they deliver. If they do not, I’d be happy to pick it up. Thanks!

    • Carrie
      July 25, 2016

Hi Ann! I have never heard of any of the resort pastry teams making a pie to order, but I would definitely call the number for Beach Club on this page and ask. Otherwise, you might be able to get one at the nearby market (Goodings?) or Publix. Or you might be able to find an Orlando-area pie shop that would deliver. Even if they don’t deliver, a service like Postmates could bring it to you.

Hi I was wondering if you knew what number I would have to call to get a custom cake for my son’s birthday delivered to the Garden Grove in the Swan? Thank you so much!!!

  • Christina
    July 6, 2016

I’m going to WDW in October 2016, for a special celebration trip – my mother’s birthday and to celebrate completion of her 3rd round of chemo (4 different types of breast cancer and metastatic bone cancer over the past 15 years), and my husband’s birthday. My mother wants to dine at La Hacienda de San Angel (which I know technically cannot accommodate custom cakes). However, if price is no object, do you think the Epcot’s team, or even the Grand Floridian or Boardwalk would be able to arrange transport of the cake to that location? I am literally willing to pay whatever it takes, and I figure if they can do it for a wedding, I’d hope they can also accommodate it for the right price?

Any thoughts appreciated! Thank you =) (and yes, I plan on contacting disney as well to ask all these questions)

    • Carrie
      July 6, 2016

Hi Christina! What a kind thing to do for your mom and husband! If you were doing a private event, like a dessert party, it would be very easy to have Epcot or even the GF deliver a cake. The trick with La Hacienda de San Angel is that it is owned and operated by an entirely different company, so Disney would not be able to bring anything into their kitchens for you. However, within the last year, someone was able to get a moderately customized cake there, so I think your best bet is to call the number for La Hacienda and explain that you want a really fancy, customized cake and see what they can do for you. Alternatively, if you are staying at a Disney-owned resort, you could just have the cake delivered to your room. Last resort, have it made by BoardWalk Bakery and pick it up to carry in. But that’s a lot of walking with a heavy cake!

      • Christina
        July 6, 2016

Thank you for the speedy reply!

We are staying at Saratoga so in room is definitely an option as well. I really was hoping for the wow factor of a surprise dessert at the restaurant since we will be sharing a studio at saratoga (no full kitchen area).

Also we have breakfast reservations at Kona one of the days so I suppose an early dessert after brunch could also be a possibility…and I believe GF does the cakes for Poly area restaurants. I mean…its Disney, if you can’t have cake for breakfast in Disney, its not a vacation! =)

I agree about Boardwalk. Pickup would be difficult as we aren’t renting a vehicle, and I myself have my own chronic illness that causes chronic pain so walking long distances quickly isn’t always feasible. (LOL….so many issues!!!)

I’ll make some calls tomorrow to get a feel for things and see what they say. If they are willing to do anything special I’ll be sure to update you guys =)

We have dinner reservations at Rose & Crown on my daughter’s actual 16th birthday. I would like to order a cake but not sure what to do. I would like it to indicate in some way that it is her 16th but don’t need anything super fancy. Should I order custom in advance or just ask for a cake on arrival? I could bring a “1” candle and “6” candle and that would be sufficient for us. I am just not sure what to do. Any information and advice you could provide would be most helpful. Thanks so much.

    • Carrie
      June 2, 2016

If you don’t care what it looks like (it’ll look like this), are OK with either all-vanilla or all-chocolate, and it’s easy to bring the candles, asking for a cake at the podium will be the easiest solution. But if you want something customized (like with fondant or decor) you can work with Epcot’s pastry team. They’re not too hard to get ahold of via the number on this page, and they do great work.

Hi! I would like to know if it’s possible to order a 8″ cake for a dinner at ABC Commissary?

Yep! Just call the number on this page for Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

    April 28, 2016

Hi! Do you happen to know if Disney restaurants are still offering the gluten free chocolate cakes? I called the hotline for the Grand Floridian and the woman said I had to use Erin McKenna’s bakery. I did that once years ago and did not like the cake so I’d rather just use Disney if it’s still available. I’m not sure if she was misinformed. Thanks!

    • Carrie
      April 28, 2016

It seems like Disney is trying to get away from providing these and just funnels everyone to Erin McKenna’s. I know a Disney bride who kicked up a fuss — eventually the Grand Floridian pastry team agreed to make her wedding cake and it was amazing. But you may have a tough row to hoe trying to convince that middlewoman in GF Private Dining to get them to do this for you. Still, doesn’t hurt to try! Alternatively, I’d check with the Contemporary (if that makes sense with your plans) or Google around for another Orlando-area bakery that will deliver to WDW.

  • Stephanie
    April 25, 2016

Wow! You are so helpful! I also left a message on the cake hotline for a cake at Sanaa and got no response. I then realized that I might be calling way too early and that was the reason I got no response. I plan to try again this week for our trip next week. I wonder if this is still an issue? I appreciate the info on the site!

    • Carrie
      April 25, 2016

I would call the main number for AKL and ask to be transferred to Private Dining. You’re sure to get a live person that way, and they can take your order.

  • Kat M
    April 18, 2016

Hi! I’m just making sure I understand things correctly… I’m going to WDW in mid May and need three separate cakes (two for birthdays and one for graduation).
We will be dining at Teppan Edo the first night and that is where we will be celebrating my birthday. I was wondering if it was possible to get an inscription and screen print on a 6 in cake? Or is it just an OR thing?
The next day we will be dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table for lunch. It’s my mom’s 60th that day and I would love to get her a mini cake and the rest of us all get the Cinderella’s Slipper Dessert (1 each). Is it possible to get mini cakes at Cinderella’s Royal Table? If not I have a back up plan.
The next day we are having dinner at the Rainforest Café in Disney Springs. It is the day that we are celebrating my bff’s little sister’s graduation on her first ever trip to WDW. Does Disney deliver custom fondant cakes to the Rainforest Café in Disney Springs? If not then I’ll call Art of Animation (where we are staying) to get a custom fondant cake delivered to the room. And it would be the Yacht and Beach Club bakery that is making this cake, right?
I just really appreciate you being willing to answer all these questions. You have no idea how much you are putting my mind at ease right now.
    Thank you!

    • Carrie
      April 18, 2016

Hi Kat! The outside vendor that makes cakes for Teppan Edo can’t put a screen print on anything smaller than an 8-inch cake. Even an inscription may have to be on the cake plate for a 6-inch. It is possible to get mini cakes at CRT. The Magic Kingdom cake department will send you photos of their generic styles, but you can request something custom by sending them inspiration images. Disney does not deliver cakes to non-Disney-owned restaurants like Rain Forest Cafe. And as far as I know, Yacht & Beach Club still makes the custom cakes for AOA—just don’t call them directly or they’ll say they don’t deliver there. Hope this helps!

Will be celebrating a Birthday at Walt Disney World on August 10th and will be having Dinner at the Disney Princess hall that night was wondering if there was anyway we could have a Cake delivered there and how i go about ordering..

    • Carrie
      April 18, 2016

Hi Bethany! I’m not sure which restaurant you mean… Is it Akershus in Epcot? Or Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom? Either way, just look for the name of the theme park on this page and you will see the phone number to call for placing an order.

Can the 10 inch cakes at the Poly be personalized in any way?

    • Carrie
      April 12, 2016

Yes! But if you want something more than a supermarket-looking cake or a Mickey head cake, you’ll need to call Grand Floridian Private Dining (number is on this page) and work with them on a cake for delivery to the Poly.

Hey, just wanted to let you know something’s messed up with the formatting on this post/page – I had to view it in the Lynx browser (an oldschool 1990s text-only web browser) to be able to read anything. Otherwise the page just goes blank milliseconds after loading.

    • Carrie
      March 29, 2016

Yes! The only thing you wouldn’t be able to do is have the restaurant store it in their fridge for you.

If I order a cake for pickup at magic kingdom where to we pick it up? Also in Disneyland california a couple years ago we went and they had celebrate your birthday for a fee you got to see characters and they song happy birthday and we got a cake to decorate and eat. Do you have something similar somewhere in disney world?

    • Carrie
      March 11, 2016

Hi! Disney doesn’t offer custom cakes for pickup at Magic Kingdom. You need to be dining at one of the table-service restaurants. You could walk up to the podium of one of them and just ask for the pre-made 6-inch Celebration cake. See Podium Cakes for more info. Disneyland discontinued “My Disneyland Birthday Party” at the Plaza Inn a few years ago, and Walt Disney World hasn’t had anything like that in at least 10 years. There is a “Perfectly Princess Tea Party” at the Grand Floridian and the “Pirates & Pals” Fireworks Cruise, which includes dessert. Otherwise, Disney is pretty good about making a big deal out of your birthday at the restaurants. Probably the most popular thing to do is order a special cake for a character meal like at Chef Mickey’s, and then sometimes the characters make a big deal out of your birthday with you.

Hi! I want to get my son a cake for his birthday(April 16) while we were there, should I order one for our reservations at ‘ohana the next day or from somewhere in magic kingdom?

    • Carrie
      March 1, 2016

They make it pretty easy to order for the table-service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom now, via the email and phone number listed above. The only drag is that you’d have to carry around the leftovers or get a locker for them if you’re not going straight back to your resort — the restaurant won’t hold them.

    February 18, 2016

Hi, I’m going to Disney for my daughter and her best friends sweet 16 the end of March I was wondering if you can recommend a bakery that would deliver to Cinderella royal table, I called the cake hotline and they only recommend the resturant and I’m looking for something a little more special.
    Thanks!

    • Carrie
      February 18, 2016

I’m sorry you were misinformed by whomever you spoke to at the Cake Hotline! The Contemporary Resort bakery makes all the fancy cakes for Cinderella’s Royal Table, but you need to work with the Magic Kingdom Cakes department to place an order. The contact information is shown above, in the Magic Kingdom section.

    February 13, 2016

I’d like to order a cake for lunch at Tusker House. does anyone know if Disney will deliver the leftover cake to our resort or at least hold it at the restaurant until we’re leaving AK? thanks!

    • Carrie
      February 14, 2016

Hi Deb! Disney won’t touch the cake again after they deliver it. It’s a health code violation for them to store a half-eaten cake in their kitchen, and they don’t offer any kind of delivery service. However, you could put it in a locker and it will be fine—they keep those rooms air conditioned. Alternatively (and what I recommend) you could order the cake for your Disney resort room so you don’t have to schlep it all over!

  • Missy
    February 7, 2016

How kind of you! Hope that all worked out.

Thanks for the tips. I wanted to order a cake to be delivered. Unfortunately, I think we’ll order a grocery store variety.

    • Carrie
      February 7, 2016

Disney’s grocery store-style aren’t terrible, at least. I mean, as they go, they taste pretty good! But it’s a drag you can’t get their custom cakes at all locations!

    January 5, 2016

HI, I need to order a cake for my daughters Golden Birthday (turning 9 on the 9th) , for this coming Saturday January 9th 2016 for at the Tusker House. I have left a least a dozen plus messages on your cake hotline for someone to call me back. I have heard nothing. And seeing that our reservation is in 4 days and you need at least 3 day notice this is my last effort to get this done for her. How do I get a cake ordered and talk to an actual human? Can someone please get back to me. I have never had such a terrible time dealing with customer service. I want it safari themed with zebra and cheetah and lots of gold for her golden birthday theme and with Mini and Daisy on it! We are coming from UTAH just for her birthday . Their will be 9 of us. Our reservation is at 4:20 Check your messages. Please.

    • Carrie
      January 5, 2016

Hi Dani! I do not work for Disney and this site is not affiliated with Disney in any way. I’m just a fan who has done a lot of research.

That said, I did some digging, and it looks like there may be a problem with the Cake Hotline sending callers to Animal Kingdom to a dead voicemail that nobody checks. I was able to get the Walt Disney World operator to connect me with a real person at Tusker House who said she would pass your information along to someone named Cinnamon, who is the cake-ordering specialist there. I gave her all the specifics you listed in your comment, as well as your email address (hope that’s OK!), and she will contact you tomorrow when she gets into the office. They need to know what flavors you want and the size. They said that as long as they place the order tomorrow, you’ll get the cake OK on Saturday.

If you would like to try speaking to her directly, you’ll need to call the WDW operator at 407-939-2273 and ask to be connected with the podium at Tusker House. Then explain to THAT person that you’re trying to get ahold of Cinnamon. Pretty complicated, eh?

    December 31, 2015

Hi, we are going to Disney for my 18th birthday and are eating at the Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom the night of the birthday. Is there any way that we could order a custom cake from the Disney Floral and Gifts website and have it delivered to the restaurant for our dinner? If not, what other options do we have? I appreciate all of your help! Thanks!

    • Carrie
      December 31, 2015

Hi Lindsey! You’d actually order that cake from the Magic Kingdom Cake Order Line, and it will be waiting for you at Be Our Guest. The phone number and email are listed on this page, under “Magic Kingdom.” Happy birthday in advance!

My daughter is in the Disney College Intern Program. Is it possible to get a cake delivered to her dorm?
    Thanks!

    • Carrie
      March 2, 2015

Hi Cindee! The Disney resort pastry teams only deliver to resorts or theme parks. You could check out a local independent bakery like It’s Tasty Too, Sprinkles, Party Flavors, Anna Cakes or Bake Me a Cake. I know some of them deliver!

  • Cara Moffett
    February 24, 2015

Hi, we are staying at a timeshare in July that is very close to WDW. We would like to order our son a 4th birthday cake with Mickey Mouse, preferably one of the cute ones for kids with several layers/tiers. He has a food allergy to all nuts. Where can I order a cake that is safe for this occasion and not too far a drive to pick it up or pay for delivery? We are going to MK one day, but I don’t want to try to take the cake back with us for his bday celebration.

    • Carrie
      February 24, 2015

That’s a tricky one. Even Erin McKenna’s Bakery (formerly Babycakes) at Downtown Disney can’t guarantee its products are completely nut-free, but it seems like they come close: http://babycakesnyc.com/our-ingredients/. I would just Google for allergy free cakes in Orlando and see if any of the local pastry shops/wedding cake bakers can guarantee a 100% nut-free cake.

    January 29, 2015

We are going to Planet Hollywood on my husband birthday , can I arrange to have a cake delivered there for us or does it have to go to our room at Animal Kingdon. Thanks for your help. How would I get balloons delivered too.

    • Carrie
      January 29, 2015

Hi Louise! Disney doesn’t deliver cakes to Planet Hollywood, and there is only a small chance that the restaurant itself can provide you one. You might try calling them, though. To get a Disney cake you’d need to order it for your room by calling Private Dining at Animal Kingdom Lodge. The Disney Florist will deliver balloons: 407-939-4438

    January 21, 2015

I would like to order a cake from the Wishes collection for a rehearsal dinner at the Shades of Green. We are having the wedding in the Wedding Pavillion, and the reception at the Grand Floridian. Can you help us figure out how to get this cake. I have a picture of it. Thanks. Linda

    • Carrie
      January 23, 2015

Hi Linda! The Disney pastry teams don’t normally deliver to Shades of Green. For example, brides who get married there usually work with a local bakery like It’s Tasty Too or Party Flavors to have a cake delivered. They could attempt to re-create the cake in your photo. However, it’s worth asking your wedding planner if s/he can help you get the Grand Floridian to make a cake and deliver it to SOG or even leave it for you at one of the GF’s restaurants for pickup. They might be able to make a little pixie dust even though this is not protocol.

Hello, we are traveling to Disney in june, My daughter and her cousin turn 15 at that time, will take them to dinner at T-Rex restaurant at Downtown Disney to celebrate. What options do we have if we want to order a fancy cake to be at the restaurant the nite of birthday’s. Is it possible to coordinate a delivery?

I will appreciate all your help. Thank you very much!

    • Carrie
      January 11, 2015

Hi Mayra! T-Rex does not offer custom cakes. Your best bet is to contact a local bakery and have them meet you to deliver the cake. I know It’s Tasty Too does this at Disney a lot. Other potential options are Anna Cakes, Bake Me a Cake, Sprinkles Cakes, and Party Flavors.
